Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The JH Stars went on the road for first time this season as they visited the Clinton Central Bulldogs. The Stars came out strong and set the tone early by attacking their 3-2 zone and press with their zone offense. The team forced turnovers with their own press and got most of our team in the scorebook. Quinn Westerfeld led the Stars with 25, Owen Oakley 10, Nate Thompson 9, Reese Young 7, Alex Valazquez 5, Jacob Riner 4 and Burke Cavins 2. Great team win going into Thanksgiving break. The Western Boone boys 7th grade basketball team also traveled to Clinton Central last night and came away with dominating 40-11 win. The Stars jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Defense lead the way in a total team effort. Both teams will face North Montgomery at home on Tuesday night next week. Go Stars!
