The WeBo Lady Stars Varsity Soccer team, 1-3-1 on the season, returned to the field on Wednesday night to host the #1 ranked Class 1A Sheridan Blackhawks. The Stars, who were looking to build on their exciting conference penalty kick shoot-out victory against North Montgomery over the weekend, competed hard and were able to hold the game scoreless for the first 25 minutes before the relentless pressure of the Blackhawks broke through, ultimately ending with a final score 9-0. Next week, the Stars return to Sagamore Conference action with a pair Varsity/JV double header road trips - as they travel to Lebanon (Tuesday) and Danville (Thursday).
