Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The girl's played a strong game against Frankfort but did come up short with a score of 1-6. The lady stars started out a little slow, but were able to pick it up in the second half. In the second half, we had a lot of passes connected forward, and at least four shots on goal. The goal was scored from an assist from Lyla Kinsler to Hannah Ranney. Hannah Ranney put the shot away! The Webo jr high boys soccer team traveled to Frankfort last night to take on the hotdogs. The score was 0-2 at half before the stars fell 0-7. Playing well for the stars was Andrew Castillo who played midfield but ran back for defense a lot. Hernan Trincado had 16 saves and Timothy Walker had 6. Nathan Lester, Declan Avila, and Maison Lutz teamed up quite a bit to keep Frankfort shooting mostly out of the box. Crosby Kinsler tried to get something going as striker but the offense just couldn't get through the tough Frankfort line. The stars play tomorrow at home against Lebanon.
