WEBO JH Starts rolled past West Lafayette last night, winning 12-4. Webo got on the board in the top of the first inning after Jack Mallory doubled, and a fellow Star scored on a passed ball, scoring one run. Webo scored 6 runs on one hit in the top of the fifth inning. Kane Jackson, Noah Cole, Jacob Collins all drew a walk scoring runs and Beau Sawyer singled, scoring 1 run. Easton Nance led things off on the bump for Webo surrendering 3 hits and 4 runs (one earned) over 6 innings, striking out seven and walking one. Easton led Webo with 3 RBIs. Kane Jackson, Mason Foster, Beau Sawyer, Jack Mallory, Liam Whiteley and Noah Cole each collected one hit. Jack Mallory led the team with 4 walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 16 walks for the game. The Stars are back in action tonight against Frankfort.
