Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone boys' tennis team looked to honor their seniors Monday night with a victory versus the North Montgomery Chargers. The Stars succeeded as they were victorious with a 4-1 win. Senior Daniel Talbott and his doubles partner, Garrett Prickett, earned a straight set victory at 2 doubles. The Stars other wins came from Gavin Hawkins at 1S, Brady Warmoth at 2S, and John Rutherford at 3S. The Stars other senior, Nick Collins, came up short at 1S for the JV 5-8, but he valiantly battled back after falling behind 2-7 early in the match. Winning for the JV Stars were Blake Maurath and the doubles team of Wyatt and Ethan Barnett. The Stars are back in action this evening when they travel to the Fountain Central Mustangs.
