Morganne Grant Collected 3 hits in 4 at bats and Gabby Lewis allowed 0 runs while striking out 10 as the Western Boone Lady Stars garnered their 9th conference win of the season and improved to their overall record to 12-4. The Stars got on the board in the bottom of the 3rd inning after Ally Lewis walked, Kenzlei Mathews hit into a fielder’s choice, Grant singled and Dottie Wilson singled each scoring a run. The Stars piled up 14 hits in the game Emma Shirley, Ally Lewis, Gabby Lewis, and Mickey Burns each collected multiple hits for the on the evening. Grant and A Lewis stole multiple bases in the contest with a total of 6 stolen bases for the team. The Stars will be back at the diamond as they host the Zionsville Eagles Friday evening with a 5:30 start.
