Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Lady Stars softball team traveled to Crawfordsville to take on the Lady Athenians and got the win in 5 innings 19-0. The Stars were lead at the plate by Kenzlei Mathews going 3 for 3 and collecting 6 RBIs on the evening. Emma Shirley, Gabby Lewis, Ally Lewis, Mikayla Naanos and Mickey Burns all added multiple hits of their own on the evening. Ally Lewis got the start going 4 innings giving up no runs with 2 hits and striking out 10. Burns came in the final inning to close things out by striking out 2 and allowing one hit. The Stars are back in action tomorrow at home on WEBO Youth Softball recognition night. Come out and support your Stars and get an autographed team picture as the Stars try to complete another sweep of a conference opponent.
