4/24 Recap vs Danville The Western Boone Lady Stars got back to action Wednesday evening as they hosted conference foe Lady Warriors of Danville. Gabby Lewis got the start and the win pitching a complete game allowing 2 runs on 2 hits striking out 6 and walking 1. The Lady Stars offense got going in the second inning as Mickey Burns led off with the first of her two hits in the contest ultimately scoring on a Kenzlei Mathews Fielder’s Choice. The Stars would go on the put 3 more runs on the board as Emma Shirley, Gabby Lewis, Morganne Grant, Ally Lewis and Mikayla Naanos all recorded hits of their own for the evening. The Stars will travel to Danville to try and complete the series sweep Thursday 4/25.
