Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The varsity girls tennis team defeated Frankfort Monday 4-1, winning in straight sets at two and three singles and both doubles. It was a great showing for the Stars with 3S Steimel and 2D Shepherd/Smith picking up the first conference wins of their careers. The team is now 4-4 overall and 1-0 in conference. The JV team also picked up a nice win to move to 3-1 on the season with Scott, Henson, Meadows, Mickschl, Maners, Strong, Threlkeld, and Ward all earning victories. The Stars will continue conference play Tuesday at North Montgomery at 5PM.
