Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Track & Field team traveled to Hamilton Heights on Saturday to compete in the annual Big Orange track invitational. The weather was spectacular and so were the Stars! Many personal bests & season bests were established as the day went on, and both the boys and girls teams showed great fight throughout the day. The girls 4x100m Relay team of Becca Keyes, Ki’erra Koch, Lillie Cripe, and Lily Shirley had a phenomenal race and come-from-behind 1st place victory in what was a very competitive heat with a time of 53.11 seconds. Wyatt Dickey placed 3rd in the Shot Put with a throw of 44’7”, and Mason Tomes placed 3rd in the 100m Dash with a time of 11.44 seconds.
