4/9 Recap vs North Montgomery The Western Boone Lady Stars Softball team finally got some good weather and swept a home double header against North Montgomery last night taking the first game 11-0 and the second 15-3. Gabby Lewis got the start in the circle for game one and recorded a no hitter in dominant fashion by striking out 11 to improve the Stars record to 3-1 and 2-0 in conference play for the season. The Webo bats were also working with Emma Shirley, Mickayla Naanos, Morganne Grant and Dottie Wilson all collecting 2 hits in the contest. Ally Lewis got the start in game two of the double header allowing 1 hit while striking out 4 with Mickey Burns coming on in relief for the final two innings allowing 3 hits and 2 runs. The bats stayed hot with Emma Shirley garnering 3 hits while Ally Lewis and Mickey Burns added 2 hits each of their own for the evening. The Stars will be back in action at home this Friday April 12th as they host the Eagles of Faith Christian at 5:30pm.
