The 7th and 8th grade girls’ basketball teams faced off against the Crawfordsville Athenians on Wednesday night with the 7th grade starting off the action. In the last game of their 7th grade season the team came out determined from the start and played good basketball through four quarters. The Stars ended their season with a 34-13 victory over the Athenians giving them a 3 and 6 overall record for the year. The team was led in scoring by Caydence Paris with 17, followed by Jerzie Nelson with 8, Lyla Kinsler with 4, Kensley Blankenship with 2, Brooklyn Wagner with 2, and Abby Detty with 1.
