JH swimmers come home from Lizton with 2 Wins

The JH swim team swam Tri-West on Tuesday. The girls team won by a score of 95-80 and the boys team won by a score of 97-66. Highlights from the girls team: The 200 Medley Relay of Isabelle Sturgis, Eisley Whiteley, Clarie Torp and Kyndal Dickerson swam a season best time. Evie Maurath dropped 5 seconds for a new season best and the win in the 200 Free. In the 50 Free Mackenzie Clements and Ava Quilter both dropped time to finish with season best times. Kate Foy and Sabina Shepherd went 1-2 in diving. Claire Torp won the 50 Butterfly. In the 100 Free Evie Maurath came in first with a new best time. Also finishing with new season best times were Mady Monks, Sabina Shepherd and Britney Richwine. Isabelle Sturgis won the 400 Free and Rachel Rustin came in second while achieving a new season best. Amelia Hillger finished second and has a new best time in the 100 Backstroke. In the 100 Breaststroke Eisley Whiteley finished first with a new season best and Josie Berkopes also dropped time to achieve a new best time. Highlights from the boys team: In the 200 Medley Relay the relay team of Jacob Schrier, Liam Whiteley, Aiden Smith and Aiden Lester finished first. In the 200 Free Liam Whiteley and Aiden Lester finished 1-2. Both had amazing swims and Aiden dropped over 9 seconds for a new best time. In the 100 IM both Ben Twitty and Aiden Smith dropped time. In the 50 Free Kolten Conner, Noah Rhoton, Jake Barnes, Ari Smith and Greyson Ford all dropped time for new season bests. Nathan Lester and Blaine Ballentine finished 1-2 in diving. In the 100 Free Noah Rhoton, Ari Smith, Landon Smith, Wes Redmen and Grayson Ford all finished with season best times. Jacob Smith finished the 400 Free and 100 Back with new season best times. Liam Whiteley won the 100 Breaststroke with a new season best time. The 400 Free Relay team of Aiden Smith, Aiden Lester, Liam Whiteley and Jacob Schrier finished first.
