The Stars JV and Varsity Boys Basketball teams hosted the Bulldogs of Clinton Central on Saturday afternoon and came away 1-1. The afternoon started with a back and forth JV contest that saw the Bulldogs hit a couple big shots down the stretch to beat the Stars JV 55-52. Scoring for the Stars was Dylan Sheets with 19 and Evan Kiplinger with 12. The Varsity contest was also a back and forth affair which saw the Stars take control late and hit enough Free Throws to come away with a 59-54 win. The Stars had multiple people make winning plays to help them get the win including Gavin Hawkins 17 pts and 4 steals, Tristyn Faulk 12 pts, Marcus Fortner 11 pts and 7 rebounds, Luke Adkins 11 pts, Quinn Westerfeld 5 pts, and Carter Hanna 3 pts.
