JH Swim Team Season Opener Our Junior High swimmers competed in their first meet of the season Monday against Crawfordsville. On the girls side Webo lost against a strong Crawfordsville team 134-49. We have a lot of new swimmers this year and this was a good opportunity to settle some nerves and see what we need to improve on for the next meet. We had some good swims last night. Eisley Whiteley was second in the 100 IM. Kyndal Dickerson finished second in the 50 Free. Joan Gearheart won diving with a score of 97.10. On the boys side Webo lost by a score of 90-71. We have 16 boys on the team and 10 of them are new to swimming. Some highlights from the boys team. Liam Whiteley led the way winning both of his individual events ( 400 Free and 100 Breaststroke). The 200 Medley relay team of Aiden Lester, Liam Whiteley, Aiden Smith and Landon Smith finished second. Wes Redman finished second in the 50 Free. Nathan Lester won diving and Blaine Ballentine finished second. Eli Baldwin finished second in the 100 Free and 100 Back. The 200 Free Relay team of Nathan Lester, Aiden Lester, Wes Redman and Kolten Conner finished first. The JH Stars are back in action on Wednesday at North Montgomery.
