Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Lady Stars finished 5th at the Monon Athletic Conference Championship, with Hayley Trojnar leading the team in 16th overall with a time of 14:07.7. Kinley Bivens followed in 22nd at 15:05.5, Alisha Manning in 28th at 16:09.8, Taylor Martin in 32nd at 16:24.5, and Skyler Yarger in 37th at 17:10.6. Lydia Boggs and Ruthie Manning rounded out the team in 45th and 46th. The Stars boys also finished 5th as a team. Liam Sartin led the way with a 10th-place finish in 12:11.2, followed by Wyatt Delp in 19th at 12:46.9. Gabriel Threlkeld finished 29th in 13:46.4, Logan Clements was 32nd in 14:10.1, and Daniel Trittin finished 37th in 15:20.4. It was a beautiful but hot day for racing and a great way to cap off the conference portion of our season. Both teams battled through the heat and gave their best against some strong conference competition. With conference behind us, the Stars now turn their attention to the final race of the season, the Indiana Middle School State Championship in Terre Haute!
