Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

What a win for the Western Boone 6th Grade Volleyball team! The Stars put together one of their strongest performances of the season, defeating Clinton Central in straight sets, 25-18 and 25-10. Western Boone played with energy from the start and continued to show how much this group is growing together on the court. Georgia Massingill and Ellie Dawson came up with some outstanding digs to keep plays alive and give the Stars opportunities to turn defense into offense. The offense also continued to take another step forward. Olive Jackson delivered two great assists that set up impressive attacks from Everlee Hubbell and Alaina Quilter, as the Stars continue to improve at setting up the ball and finishing points at the net. One of the biggest highlights of the night came from the service line in the second set. Georgia Massingill took over, serving 10 straight points for the Stars — including an incredible eight aces! Her dominant run helped Western Boone take control of the set and never look back. It was a complete team win and another great showing of the progress the Stars continue to make with each match. Western Boone gets the weekend off before returning home Tuesday at 6 p.m. to take on Rossville. Come out and support the Stars!
