The Western Boone boys tennis team welcomed the North Montgomery Chargers to the Western Boone tennis courts for a Monon Athletic Conference competition. The Stars earned the conference win by defeating the Chargers 4-1. Congratulations to Reese Young and Zac Weesies who played their first ever match together at one doubles. The Stars duo came away with a 7-5, 6-0 victory, securing the win for the Stars. The Stars are back in action Wednesday, where they will travel to Hamilton Heights for a 5 PM start. Vik Miller picked up the lone win the JV Stars this evening. Vik played singles for the first time this season and demonstrated that hard work pays off with an 8-5 win!
