Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone 6th Grade Volleyball team continued its strong start to the season with a two-set victory over Clinton Prairie in its home opener. The Stars battled through a competitive first set, coming away with a 25-21 win before finding their rhythm and taking control in the second set, 25-13, to secure the match. It was another great team effort as the Stars continue to improve at working together on the court. The girls showed tremendous effort fighting to keep balls alive, staying with each play, and not giving up until the whistle. Western Boone also showed improvement from the service line after its opening match. Alaina Quilter and Olive Jackson both put together impressive serving runs that included multiple aces and helped the Stars build momentum throughout the match. Everlee Hubble provided another highlight in the second set with an outstanding attack at the net, showing the continued growth and confidence of the Stars' offense. With another win under their belt, the Stars will look to keep building on their early-season momentum as they head on the road to Frankfort for their next match.
