Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone 7th Grade Volleyball team had a very competitive game against Danville. While the girls fell short in both sets, losing the first 25-18 and the second 25-10, there were so many positive moments to take away from the match. Madison contributed 2 aces, while Piper added 2 kills to help lead the team. More importantly, I was incredibly proud of the effort and determination the girls showed throughout the game. As their coach, it was exciting to see the real growth from our last game to this one. The girls showed improvement in their communication, effort, and ability to compete through tough moments. The score may not have gone our way, but the progress we saw on the court was a win in itself. I’m proud of this group and excited to keep working, growing, and getting better together. We’ll take what we learned from this game and use it to come back even stronger for the next one!
