Junior Varsity had a great evening coming back from behind and dealing their second conference win of the season. The Stars continue to battle through adversity, and it’s clear this season is pushing these girls in more ways than one. While they continue to grow physically and develop their skills, they are also gaining something just as valuable—resilience, perseverance, and the ability to keep fighting when things get tough. Although this season has presented its challenges, the Stars continue to show up, compete, and battle for every single point. Leading the charge was Ady Nicely with 11 kills, 2 aces, and 7 digs. Emily Shepherd added 8 kills, while Alexa Massingill followed with 6. Defensively, Ella Oakley and Alexa Massingill put together an impressive performance, combining for 22 digs. At the net, the Stars reached a season-high with 12 blocking assists, showing continued growth and determination on defense. Keep fighting, Stars. Keep learning, keep growing, and keep believing. The only way from here is up!
