The WeBo tennis team traveled to McCutcheon Thursday evening to take on the Mavericks. The 1D tandem of Oakley/Nance started strong and never let off the gas in a straight set win for the Stars. The 2D team of Cavins/Young also defeated the Mavericks in straight sets. Despite an intense battle, the Stars ultimately were swept at singles positions and fell to the Mavericks by a score of 2-3. The JV Stars also dropped their match to the Mavericks. The doubles teams of Maurath/Merrill and Ford/Miller each earned wins on the evening. The Stars now turn their attention to Saturday where they will host the WeBo Tourney, starting at 9am.
