The IHSAA State Track & Field tournament began on Tuesday evening for the Girls at Zionsville. It was a poor day for weather for the first few hours with pop-up storms, but the frustrations of the delays ended up paying off for our team as many hit season bests in their events. Everything except for Shot Put was completed on Tuesday night, and the throwers made the trip again on Wednesday to conclude the meet. We are excited to announce that Sabina Shepherd (freshman) qualified for Regionals in the Long Jump as she placed 3rd in the event. She will continue her season next Tuesday at Ben Davis.
