Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Lady Stars softball team hosted the Lady Gophers of Clinton Prairie last night and collected their tenth win of the season in 12-5 fashion.  The Lady Stars were led at the plate by Raina Lutz and Ashlyn Foster both collecting 3 hits in the contest.  Adi Lee, Mady Monks and Payten Blankenship had two hits of their own during the game.  Mickey Burns got the start and the win allowing 5 runs on 6 hits while striking out 6.  The Stars will be back in action tomorrow evening as the travel to Crawfordsville to face of with the Lady Athenians with a 5:30 start.
