Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone boys' golf team travelled to Crawfordsville Country Club on Tuesday night, where they split their match with Southmont and North Putnam. Southmont fired an impressive 165 in high winds on their home course, followed by the Stars score of 186. North Putnam finished with a 204. Luke LaGrange played a very controlled and steady round to card a 44, followed by Tim Boddicker, who scrambled most of the night to turn in a 45. Carson Richardson was the third scorer at 48, while Asher Foy had a breakthrough night, adding the final tally for the varsity for the first time this season with a 49. The JV recorded a team score of 220, consisting of Brennan Kopriva, 51; Landen Miller, 54; Jonathon Rutherford, 57; Luke Cummins, 58. The Stars are back in action this evening as they host Crawfordsville and Lafayette Central Catholic at Cool Lake Golf Club.
