Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Lady Stars hosted the Lady Chargers of North Montgomery last night after a brief, but intense rain shower moved through. Thanks to the coaching staff and one of our parents for all the hard work to get the field back in playable condition. The Stars got on the board early scoring 3 in the first inning. After a scoreless 2nd inning the Stars plated 6 in the 3rd and another 4 in the 4th inning. Mickey Burns got the start and pitched 3 no hit innings while striking out 4. Ally Lewis came in relief in the top of the 4th to close things out allowing 0 runs on 1 hit while striking out 4. The Stars were able to record 9 hits in the contest with Payten Blankenship, Lewis and Burns all colleting multiple hits on the evening.
