Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The varsity girls tennis team earned a great 3-2 win Wednesday over Lafayette Jeff. The match started by the Stars dropping 1S and 3S but winning at 2D (Baird/Hayden). 2S Strong lost her first set 1-6 and 1D Maners/Anderson lost their first set 4-6. However, with the odds against them, both battled back and won in three sets to give the Stars the win. The varsity team is now 1-1. On the JV side, they had another strong showing with a 4-1 win to move to 2-0. The Stars will travel to McCutcheon Thursday at 4:30.
