The girls team was victorious against North Putnam on Tuesday. The score was 105 - 50. The boys team lost by a score of 109 - 70. Both teams are improving in every meet. Here are some highlights from the swim meet last night. Girls team of Maelynn Stambro, Josie Berkopes, Ava Quilter and Alisha Manning started the meet out strong by winning the 200 Medley Relay. Ava Quilter followed up the relay by winning the 200 Free with a new best time. Leah Jones also finished with a new best time. In the 100 IM Violet Hillger and Emmy Whiteley swam new best times. In the 50 Free Kynadi Dickerson, Izzy Brown, Aliana Smoot, Taleah Threlkheld and Ryleigh Grant all swam best times. Violet Hillger won the 50 Fly with a new best time. Alivia Adkins and Hayley Trojnar both swam new best times in the 100 Free. Ava and Maelynn swam new best times in the 400 Free. The 200 Free Relay team of Leah Jones, Violet Hillger, Alivia Adkins and Kynadi Dickerson placed first. In the 100 Back Alivia dropped over 30 seconds and Hayley dropped over 12 seconds. Emmy Whiteley swam a new best time in the 100 Breaststroke. On the boys team Braxton Ford and Enzo Heredia finished 1-2 in the 200 Free both with best times. In the 100 IM Harlan Threlkeld placed first with a new best time. Liam Sartin achieved a new high score for diving. Enzo and Liam swam best times in the 100 Free. Braxton and Wayde Pollard swam new best times in the 400 Free. The 200 Free Relay placed first. Ari Smith and Beau Threlkheld both dropped time in the 100 Breaststroke. The Stars will compete again on Thursday at home against Greencastle.
