The Western Boone Stars battled through a tough first half but stormed back with a dominant second-half performance to defeat Sheridan 59–48. After struggling to find rhythm early, the Stars flipped the switch coming out of the locker room, outscoring Sheridan 41–18 in the final two quarters. Western Boone showcased the team they are capable of being—locked in defensively, fast in transition, and efficient on the offensive end. Ryder DeVol and Tate Fields controlled the glass, giving the Stars extra possessions and helping fuel the second-half surge. The energy shift was immediate, and Sheridan had no answer for the Stars’ momentum. Scoring for the Stars: Jackson Potter – 16 Tate Fields – 15 Ryder DeVol – 11 Lukas Harrison – 10 Jude Anderson – 3 Jackson Linton – 2 Hayden Demaree – 2 The win gives the Stars strong momentum heading into the weekend as they travel to Southmont on Saturday for the Sugar Creek Classic, with their first game tipping off at 9:00 AM.
