8th Grade Stars dominate over Clinton Central

The Western Boone Stars turned in one of their most complete performances of the season on Monday night, rolling to a dominant 56–22 victory over Clinton Central. The Stars set the tone early with relentless defense and fast-paced offense, overwhelming the Bulldogs from the opening tip. Western Boone exploded to a 34–8 halftime lead, showcasing sharp ball movement, aggressive rebounding, and lock-down defense. With the game well in hand, the Stars’ bench took over for much of the second half and continued the strong play, maintaining energy and discipline to close out the convincing win. Tate Fields led all scorers with 17 points, attacking the rim and knocking down shots throughout the night. Jackson Potter added 12 points, providing steady scoring and leadership. Hayden Demaree and Lukas Harrison each chipped in 6 points, while Ryder DeVol contributed 7, including key buckets in transition. Connor Palmer powered inside for 4 points, and Drake Wagner rounded out the scoring with 3. It was a complete team effort from start to finish, with all players contributing to the dominant performance. The Stars continue to build momentum as the season progresses.
