The 7th grade Stars had a strong start, with six different players scoring in the first half. Bryson Potter led the charge with 15 points, while Wyatt Redman added 11. This early lead of 34-13 at halftime set the tone for the rest of the game, as the Stars maintained control and emerged victorious with a final score of 50-29. The Stars’ defense was formidable, with Blake Stokes, Cannon Dunk, and Crosby Kinsler applying consistent pressure on Central’s point guard, making him earn every inch of the court. This made it challenging for Central’s offense to find its rhythm. When Central managed to get closer to the basket, Redman, Spencer Worrel, and Eli Pasture were instrumental in altering shot and sometimes the trajectory of the ball! Casey Richardson does not typically score the most points, but he plays a crucial role in Western Boone’s offense by creating opportunities for his teammates and providing valuable assists. His play significantly contributes to the team’s overall success. Scorers for Western Boone: Redman 19, Potter 15, Stokes 5, Evan Dexter 3, Jase Young 3, Pasture 2, Dunk 2, Richardson 1 Seventh Grade A&B will be back on the court next when they host North Mont on December 2nd.
