The Western Boone Stars dropped a heartbreaker in overtime, falling by three in a hard-fought battle against a very strong Tri-West team. From start to finish, the Stars competed with toughness, energy, and pride—showing exactly why this group has such a promising future. Despite the final score, Western Boone took a step forward. Their grit, execution, and resilience were on full display, proving that even in defeat, growth is happening. Lukas Harrison turned in one of the most impressive defensive performances of the season. Tasked with face-guarding Tri-West’s top scorer for the entire game, Harrison rose to the challenge, applying relentless pressure and setting the tone on the defensive end. Offensively, Jackson Potter again led the way with 23 points, showing confidence and poise throughout the contest. Conner Palmer added 9 points while battling inside, and Tate Fields contributed 5. With the loss, the Stars move to 6–1 on the season, but their effort and improvement continue to point toward big things ahead for this team
