The 8th grade baseball team traveled to Clinton Prairie on Saturday afternoon.  It was a good close game through 5 innings with the score 3-2 in favor of the Gophers. The Stars did not score in the sixth inning, while the Gophers added 5 runs in the bottom half of the inning. Final score: Gophers

Stars fall to Zionsville in season debut

The 8th grade baseball opened up their season Thursday night against Zionsville West. Zionsville’s talented line up proved to be too much for our Stars, topping them 14-2. A perfect Saturday morning brought North Putnum to Webo to play baseball against our 6th and 7th grade team. Although the young Stars are still improving, they struggled as a whole losing 8-1. Monday night, the 8th grade baseball team had three hits in a loss to visiting Northridge 17-1. Jaxon Oldham and Elliott Beck-King each had singles.
