Stars advance to final in 3-2 thriller

By Will Willems will.willems@reporter.net – May 17, 2019 FRANKFORT — The Western Boone girls tennis team was seeking redemption Friday night in their sectional semifinal match with Frankfort. The Hot Dogs were the last team to beat Western Boone this season, on April 22, and both teams eventually shared the Sagamore Conference title with North Montgomery.

Stars end regular season on a high note

The varsity girls tennis team defeated International Monday night 4-1. 1S Klingensmith falls in a close third set super tie-breaker 13-15. 2S Jahn wins 6-3, 7-5. 3S Kumler wins at  6-1, 6-4.
