Stars swimmers fall to the Mavericks

The Western Boone Stars swim team traveled to Crawfordsville Tuesday night to face the Athenians. The girls team fell 64-117; while the boys team lost 31-131. The Western Boone swim team capped off a great season by taking fourth place out of 12 teams at Sectionals Saturday. The day began with the 200 Medley Relay team of Olivia Richardson, Lauren Jones, Macaya Himes and Regan Gubera placed second. In the 200 freestyle, MaKenna Steimel took 14th while Shelby Dorwart was 6th.
