Blake Dukes Named First Team Academic All-State

Blake Dukes, a senior at Western Boone Jr./Sr. High School, has been named First Team Academic All-State for cross country. Knoper and Collier at Cross Country Semi-State

Two Western Boone cross country runners competed at the IHSAA Semi-State meet at Shelbyville on Saturday. Audrey Knoper represented Western Boone well in the girls’ race and finished in a time of 19:26.9.  Her 37th-place finish in the field of 179 runners was the highest-ever finish by a Western Boone girl at a semi-state meet.
