Banner fall for Stars athletics

It has been a banner fall athletics season for the Western Boone Stars. Several teams have had successful campaigns. Champions were crowned and records fell: -Lauryn Florey set the all-time cross country school record. -The boys tennis team won it’s first outright Sagamore Conference Championship. -Girls golf qualified for their second consecutive regional. -The Girls Soccer

October Athletes of the Month

Congratulations to Callie Gubera and Solo Huckstep on being named October Female and Male Athlete’s of the Month. Gubera, a senior, led the Lady Stars volleyball team to their 6th straight sectional championship. Junior, Solo Huckstep, broke multiple school records as the football team’s field goal kicker.
