Stars continue to make strides over the holidays

The Lady Stars basketball team were in action over the holiday break. The Lady Stars traveled to Vincennes University to participate in the Vincennes Niehaus Classic. In the first round, Western Boone faced Evansville Mater Dei. The Lady Stars fell to a tough Mater Dei team 34-41. Hillary Reed led the Stars with 18 points.

Star wrestlers compete in Spartan Bowl

The Western Boone wrestling team traveled to Connersville over break to compete in the Spartan Bowl Classic. The team placed 7th in class A and 20th out of 32 teams overall. Stars split with Danville

The Western Boone Star swimmers split with Danville Tuesday night. The girls won 95-44. The 200 medley and 200 yard freestyle team of Rashel Anderson, Regan Gubera, Micaela Steiber, and Emma Mitchell took 1st. Mitchell and Katherine Aliff went 1-2 in 200 IM.
