Lady Stars sweep Benton Central on Senior Night

The Western Boone girl’s tennis team faced Benton Central for Senior Night on Thursday night. Seniors Katie Collins, Becky Collins, and Talyn Guinn were honored prior to match play. The Lady Stars played great in honor of their seniors, 1S K. Collins, 2S B. Collins, and 3S Kinsey won their matches in individual match play.

LaGrange; Dickerson finish 3rd as Stars competed in Conference Tournament

The junior high golf teams finished their season Saturday at the Sagamore Conference Tournament.  Levi LaGrange set a new personal best of 43, and Kadence Richardson set a new personal best of 58 for her birthday present. Lady Stars go 1-1 over the weekend

Western Boone varsity softball team got out to a 4-run lead by the 7th inning and held on for a 5-4 victory over Guerin Catholic on Friday to push their record to 17-6 on the season. Stars shutout by Crawfordsville

The 8th grade baseballers were held hittless in Thursday’s night loss to Crawfordsville 20-0.  They will play again on Saturday against the visiting North Putnum. The game will start 20 minutes following the 6th/7th grade game, approximately 12:30 pm start.

Junior High Spring Sports Program – May 30th – 6 PM

We will host our Junior High Spring Sports Program on Wednesday, May 30th in the Auditorium at 6 PM.  We will start together and recognize the highlights of our teams, star award winners and those that are receiving their numerals.  We will break out into individual team sessions to complete the evening.  Cake will be available after the breakout sessions.   The Western Boone baseball team traveled to Frankfort Tuesday night to take on the Hot Dogs. The Stars struggled to find anything in the batter’s box, while Frankfort jumped out to an early lead. Hayden Woodruff pitched for the Stars as he gave up 4 runs off of 4 hits, while striking out 1
