7&8 Volleyball Season Begins Tonight

The Western Boone high school cross country team competed at the Leap Into September Invitational at Southmont on Tuesday afternoon.  A warmer-than-usual temperature took its toll on many of the runners, but the Stars did their best despite the conditions. Girls soccer cracks State Rankings

The Western Boone girls soccer team has broken into the state’s top 20 rankings for the first time in school history: The girls are 3-2 and 2-1 in conference. The only two losses are against two other ranked opponents (at the time they played…Hamilton Heights and Tri-West). The girls also defeated state ranked Cascade.

Cross Country at Danville Hokum Karem

The Western Boone high school cross country team competed at the Danville Hokum Karem on Saturday.  The boys’ team was 14th and the girls’ team was 11th.  Hamilton Southeastern won both the boys’ and girls’ team competitions.
