The Stars watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 11-0 loss to Danville on Wednesday. Danville took the lead on a single in the first inning. WeBo struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Danville, giving up 11 runs. One bright spot for Western Boone Stars Varsity was a single by Tyler Brunty in the first inning. Brunty started the game and surrendered eight runs on ten hits over two innings, striking out three. Mitch Miller threw two innings in relief. Brunty and Luke Jackson each collected one hit to lead Western Boone Stars Varsity.
