News · Jr. High Swimmers take on Clinton Central and Tecumseh


The junior high swimmers traveled to Clinton Central on Tuesday night for a three-way meet with Tecumseh.  The girls came out on top against both teams (29 WB – 27 T – 26 CC); the boys tied with Tecumseh (39-39) and fell to Clinton Central (58-25).  Top finishes for the evening included: Lilly Maners earned second-place in the 200-yard freestyle; Isaac Threlkeld won the 50-yard freestyle; Jenna Twitty won the 100-yard backstroke; Jacob Norman earned third-place in the 100-yard backstroke; Lindsey Steimel earned third in the 400-yard freestyle and 100-yard IM; Chase Collier earned third-place in the 200-yard freestyle; Abigail Scott took third-place in the 100-yard freestyle; Malachi Catterson earned third-place in the 50-yard butterfly; Maddy Sharp took third-place in the 50-yard breaststroke; and Carver Bragg took third-place in the 100-yard backstroke.  The junior high swimmers have their final regular season meet at home on Thursday against Southmont.
