WEBO scored the first basket of the game, but that would be their last lead for the remainder of the game. After falling behind by a score of 16 to 5 after the first period WEBO became stingy on defense allowing only 2 points during the 2nd period. Danville scored only 8 points total during the 2nd and 3rd quarters, but Western Boone could not answer offensively. The Stars adjusted defensively in the first period, when Dylan Sheets was assigned to Tricker halfway through the first period. Sheets would hold Tricker to 6 points total over the next 3 quarters, but the stars could not find an answer on offense and lost the game by a score of 34 to 18. Tricker lead in scoring for Danville with 12 points and Dennison poured in 10. Western Boone had 3 players contribute offensively with Luke LaGrange leading the Stars offensively scoring 10 of the Stars 18 points. Adding to the Stars offense were Layton Yancey and Tristyn Falk .

The WEBO B Team stepped up offensively and defensively in the first half and found themselves ahead on the scoreboard 11 to 5 after 2 quarters of play. But Danville came out hot in the second half, and outscored the Stars 24 to 8 to pull away from the Stars, winning the game by a final score of 29-19. Even though Danville beat WEBO in the 4th quarter by 10 points, the Stars were still in the game with a 15 to 15 tie score after 3 quarters of play. There was a back and forth battle between the 2 teams until the last 3 minutes of the game when Danville scored 8 unanswered points and pulled away to win the game 29-19. Eryck Schnoor played shut down defense and Jaden Latham added to the defense by containing his man and causing many turnovers. Scoring for the Stars included Schnoor and Latham each scoring 7, Fortner added 6, while Anderson and Warren added 2 points and 1 point respectively.

8th Grade Basketball

The Stars  A Team hosted the Danville Warriors in a conference match up. The Stars had no answers for the size, speed and pressure from the Warriors. The Stars faced a full court press and turnovers put the Stars in a hole fast. The Stars could not get into their offense and had to fight for every point. The length and size just wore the Stars down. The Stars fell 60-17 to the Warriors.

The Stars B team faced the same pressure and outside shooting. Turnovers and pressure defense sealed their fate. The Warriors took the game 42-6.
