The JV boys’ basketball team traveled to Fountain Central Saturday evening and lost by the score of 54-36. This was another tough loss to another slow start and bad first quarter. After halftime, better effort, execution, and team basketball led to a 26-26 tie in the 2nd half. The Stars are a really young group and this tough stretch of games will help them as they grow as players and move on the rest of the season. Kaden Bennington led the team with 10 points and Bryce Kopriva followed that up with 8 points. The Stars are now 1-4 on the season and will host Covington this coming Tuesday at 6pm.
