Girls 7th Grade Basketball, Girls 8th Grade Basketball · Stars fall to Crawfordsville in season finale

The 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams wrapped up their seasons last night. The Stars were unable to finish the season with a win against the Crawfordsville Athenians. The 7th grade Stars came out aggressive the first half but had trouble finding the basket in the second half. The Lady Athenians beat the Stars 27-18. For the second game in a row, Olivia Reagan had another double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Becca Keyes was aggressive on the defense end and came away with 8 steals.

The 8th grade Lady Stars had a tough loss to a great shooting Crawfordsville team 27-37. This was the most points the team has scored in a game all season. Two players ended up with a double double. Aleigh Snow had 10 points and 12 rebounds while Alayna Christner had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Stefanie Dickerson had 6 steals while Emily Parsons and Jazmine Bowling did a great job of defense late to stop the clock giving us a chance to close the gap. Congratulations to the girls for an enjoyable season in which they improved each game!
