Girls 6th Grade Basketball · Stars blow past the Hot Dogs in home debut

The 6th grade Lady Stars basketball team had their first home game of the season Monday night. The Stars look to push their record to 2-0 as the Frankfort Hot Dogs came into town. The Stars played aggressive and displayed great help side defense, which made it tough for the Hot Dogs to find any good looks. On the offensive end, the Stars had a balanced attack. The Stars were able to control the game, leading to a 32-7 win. Jaylee Dickerson (10) and Ila Stokes (8) were able to set the pace for the Stars with 18 combined points. Emmerson Gott (6), Janelle Gearheart (4), and Isabell Grady (4) were others that made an impact on the offensive end.
The Stars will be back in action on Wednesday as they travel to Crawfordsville for a 6 PM start.
