After falling at home to Hamilton Heights on Wednesday, the boys’ freshman team looked to rebound Thursday night against conference foe Danville. The Stars were able to do so in a big way, getting the win 40-27. In a complete team effort, the Stars were able to jump to an early lead, control the game, then pull away midway through the 3rd quarter. After switching to and executing their press, the Stars were able to create several turnovers. The Stars were balanced in scoring, with 9 different players recording points. Kaden Bennington and Luke Barta led the way with 7 each.
The Stars will be back in action Wednesday as host the Clinton Prairie Gophers at 6:00 PM.
