Girls Varsity Volleyball · Stars win Clinton Prairie Invitational

The varsity volleyball team traveled to Clinton Prairie for the last tournament and matches of the regular season. The Stars had their toughest match of the day taking on West Lafayette. The passing and blocking defense was able to shut down West Lafayette’s 2 best hitters and the team won 2-0. Up next was Tri-Central and the Stars won in straight sets 2-0. After a lunch break, the Stars were able to beat University 2-0. After winning the 2 morning matches, the Stars were in the championship match against Manchester. All of the girls played great in the match and beat the Squires 2-0 to win the Clinton Prairie Invitational.

The Stars are now focusing on sectionals as they have a week to prepare for their Saturday morning match against Sheridan at Sheridan at 11:00 am.
