Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball, Girls Varsity Volleyball · Stars sweep Park Tudor

The high school volleyball teams traveled to Park Tudor on Monday night to take on a very talented Panther team. It was another great win for the JV team as they topped the Panthers 25-10 and 25-11. Lindsey Coffman led the offense with 22 assists while Audrey Dunn had 10 kills and Kiara Murdock had 4 kills. Kayla Aliff had a great match playing all the way around with 5 kills and 7 digs. Chloe Gillan was consistent in the back row with many great serve receive passes and 5 digs. With a win last night, the team improves to 18-3 on the season with only 2 matches left of the season.

The varsity team had their best match of the season beating the Panthers in 3 sets with games scores of 25-16, 25-17, and 25-17.  Every girl on the team played their best and it was a team effort to win the match. Tori Wilkinson led the team with 11 kills and Kennedy Kiger had 8 kills. Anna Jones and Alyssa Wethington had several blocks that slowed down their best player which was key in the win. Holly Thompson and Elena Gubera had a great night running their offense with Holly leading with 20 assists and Elena with 18 assists.  The win also couldn’t have happened without our strong back row passers of Maddie Hawkins, Marli Ransom, and Maddie Holibuk.

The team will face Tri-West tonight for the conference title.  Both teams come in tonight undefeated in conference. Please come out and support the girls for the conference championship and for our Dig Pink night to raise money for breast cancer.
