Girls 6th Grade Volleyball · Stars sweep Frankfort in straight sets

Last night the 6th grade volleyball teams took on conference opponent, the Frankfort Hot Dogs. The A team started strong with long serving streaks by Isabel Adams and Alyssa Witte. They were victorious in the first set 25-10. The second set was a battle as the Stars trailed for a majority of the time. In the end, they showed some grit and battled back to win 25-23 to win the match and increase their record to 2-0 on the season. The B team followed suit with a solid two set victory. They won their first set 25-12 with solid serving streaks from Dotty Wilson and Kirstin McCormick. The second set came down to the final point when Makayla Harris came up clutch with a solid swing on a tough ball to cap off the victory 25-24.

Both teams will be back in action next week as they take on Northridge Tuesday at home and Clinton Central Thursday at home both starting at 6 pm.
