Leading for more than 3/4 of the boys race, Lane Hardee finished in first with 12:27. Other scoring members of the team that had fairly decent times despite the heat were Collin Washburn in 2nd (12:53), Isaac Threlkeld in 5th (13:23), Luke LaGrange in 8th (13:39) and Landyn Hardee in 10th (13:44).
The Lady Stars only had 2 runners near their best times of the season – Rosie Rogers was 3rd on the team, finishing 7th overall (15:30) and Bailey Keyes was 6th on the team, finishing 11th overall (17:33). Besides Rogers, the other scoring team members were Bailey Haag (4th – 14:40), Samantha Jones (6th – 15:20), Emily Parsons (8th – 15:51), and Bethany Martin (9th – 16:09).
The Stars’ next race is at Danville, against the Warriors and Northridge on Thursday starting at 5:30 pm.
